Do you have liability insurance?

We have lots of experience in all kinds of lighting situations like softlight, full sun, candlelight, overcast, rain and snow!

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?

Of course! You booked me and you will get me!

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?

Absolutely not. Every client deserves Gail's complete attention for their event and it's for that reason that we only shoot one wedding per weekend.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?

Yes. A professional photographer who has worked with us for over 4 years and shares Gail's passion for our clients!

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?

4 sets of gear - cameras, lenses, flashes, - 2 for each photographer

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?

Yes.

Do you charge hourly or full day?

All collections are custom-designed usually for a half-day or full-day. A-la-carte hourly rates are available for the smaller event on a very limited basis.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?

Because we only book one event per weekend, we are able to add additional hours if required. These are charged at our regular a-la-carte rate.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?

We work from the time we arrive until we have completed our contract. If we are working through the reception, a vendor meal should be provided for our crew (2 people)

Do you charge for travel?

Only if we have to stay overnight!

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?

3 - 4 weeks.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

On-line private proofing and ordering gallery.

How long can the client keep the proofs?

The proofs are theirs.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?

yes

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

yes

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?

hi-rez files with most collections

Will images be available for viewing online?

yes

What kind of albums do you offer?

Custom-designed digital storybooks, coffee table magazine style books for clients, parents and engagement sessions. Italian leather albums must be seen to be appreciated.

When will the client get the final album?

12 - 16 weeks after approval of the design
