Describe your DJ style:
We are known to be elegant and classy. We provide a fun and memorable evening without appearing to be cheezy or obnoxious!
What is your usual attire?
Black Tuxedo..No crazy sequin vests or wierd colors here!
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
You are welcome to provide it if it is something out of print or hard to get but we prefer that you do as little work as possible so we will be happy to get any music you are requesting if we don't already have it!
How many other DJs do you work with?
We have 9 Disc Jockey's to choose from all very polished and professional but very different in personality.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
We have no minimum amount of time we work. Whatever is required is what we play for.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
We encouage the couple to meet with their DJ a few weeks before the wedding to go over all details together and to assure your comfort level with the DJ you have selected.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
We have done several ethnic weddings over the years including Greek, Indian, Jewish, Italian, Polish, German and Asian
Do you bring your own equipment?
All of our DJ's OWN their own equipment, lighting and music! They are not renting it. So they will have a much higher quality sound system than most DJ's you will find.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
Each DJ has a very tasteful professional light show including a mirrorball or starball for the slow songs. (Bubbles are not a good idea because your guests could slip!)
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
Most banquet facilities already have a table set-up when we arrive. Set-up time depends on the DJ. Usually between 20 minutes to an hour.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
NO
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Yes we are professional MC's and will run the evening very smooth while coordinating with the other professionals you have hired.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
It is not required but always appreciated when you invite your DJ to dine. When you include the travel time- set up ad tear down time..for most weddings it's a 10 hour day for the DJ. There will be appropriate music playing while the DJ is dining.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
There will be continuous music from the moment the guests enter the room untill the lights come up at the end of the night!
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes we have back-up.
What is your overtime rate?
We usually just like to make sure you are covored for the full event..most venues will give the DJ 5-6 hours to play, some now give as many as 7! We don't charge extra for that time.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Hard to say..we travel upto an hour without any extra charges. With the price of gas now sometimes if we are more than that there will be a small charge.
