When you think of a 'DJ' you sometimes think of a middle aged man, dressed in a cheesy, cheap tux playing the chicken dance and the cha cha slide. Music By Design is not this.

Our Music Coordinator (that title is so much more appropriate) was completely professional. Prompt (arrived more than an hour early so no guests would see him setting up equipment and so the music for cocktail hour would be playing as guests arrived), well dressed (stylish and most importantly, not obvious), and responsive.

Tim checked in with us a few times during our wedding planning process, but was NEVER overwhelming or annoying. Music By Design has an unmatched 'members only' website that is SO detailed it made me think of things I otherwise would have completely forgotten. It's so well designed, user friendly and FILLED music samples/lyrics (if for instance you're not sure the song you chose for your father/daughter dance is appropriate).

Several of our friends used Music By Design for their weddings as well. Though the Music Coordinators were different, the quality was the same. We wanted someone who was behind the scenes, played great music, but DID NOT talk or make a production out of our wedding. Tim was just that. However, for some of our friend's weddings they wanted a rocking, party starter DJ (also through Music by Design). The style was different compared to ours, but still remained classy and played great music. Music By Design does a fantastic job of matching the right Music Coordinator to the style of you and your wedding.

Their price is also completely reasonable. It was lower than most DJ services and for what you're getting, there's no reason not to book them!
