Arched Entryways, Stained-glass windows, deep stained woodwork and massive columns. Beautiful rose garden entry, gorgeous views.
How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
We have 3 packages that are flat fees. You may purchase additional time.
Do you offer any special services?
As part of our package you have a wedding hostess on your rehearsal day and wedding day.
Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?

Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
Only on the organ.
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
You are only required to use our Sound Tech if you are going to have CD music, that additional cost is $125.00 We do not allow outside DJ's.
Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?
We have a brides room that is part of the package, NO additional charge.
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
No alcohol is permitted at Morris Chapel
What restrictions (if any) on decorations?
No tape or metal on the pews, if you want candles on the carpeted area please use a hurricane.

The rules regarding photography are definite and designed to uphold the sanctity of the ceremony and Morris Chapel and to ensure an enjoyable experience for the bride and groom, as well as their invited guests and hired professionals.
Flash pictures may be taken during the processional and recessional, but not during the ceremony proper.
Photographs may be taken from the choir loft. You are asked to cooperate with other professionals, i.e. sound techs, pianists, videographers, etc., to ensure adequate working area for all involved.
Photographers may stand in the center or side aisles within the last 5 rows of the back of the chapel during the ceremony. Do not become a distraction to the wedding party, guests, or officiant. (Please do not lie down in the aisles).
Each bridal party has a specific number of hours they have contracted with the chapel. It is the photographer?s responsibility to know the schedule and to observe the timeline implicitly.
Following the contracted hours in the chapel, photographs may be taken on the north lawn of the chapel or other areas on campus so long as they do not conflict with other events scheduled in those areas.
A Morris Chapel wedding hostess is assigned to each bridal party and will be present during the bridal parties? contracted hours. The hostess is a representative for Morris Chapel and the University of the Pacific and is there to ensure that the rules and procedures are adhered to.
What restrictions (if any) on videography?
Videography at Morris Chapel
The rules regarding videography are definite and designed to uphold the sanctity of the ceremony and Morris Chapel and to ensure an enjoyable experience not only for the bride and groom, but also for their invited guests and hired professionals.
Video equipment may be set up in the choir loft or at the north end of the choir pews in the chancel area.
Cameras may not use a spotlight during the ceremony proper.
Videographers will operate cameras with minimal movement during the ceremony so not to become a distraction to the wedding party, guests, or officiant. Cameras may be left unattended on a tripod in either of the designated areas.
If using a microphone system, confer with a Morris Chapel sound technician to avoid mic feedback. The sound tech will determine which microphones will be used.

Does your venue often accommodate more than one event at a time?
No, we do one wedding at a time.

We have two Bathrooms available for the use of your wedding.
Describe your parking facilities:
We are located on The University of Pacific so we have parking for your wedding. Parking can be difficult if there is an event on campus.
