No
Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?
I perform weddings anywhere a couple desires. I also perform destination weddings in the U.S. and abroad.
Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?
The ceremony wording should be totally of the couples choice, and should reflect their love - their feeling that they have for one another. I am there to assist - or I will provide a complete ceremony if the couple does not desire to make their own choices.
Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?
Absolutely! They can pick from many choices I have in both traditional and ring vows, and I encourage couples who would like to write their own vows to do so.
Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?
Couples can pick from my list which contains over 100 readings, or they can provide the readings/scripture/poems they would like to include into their ceremony.
Do you require that premarital counseling be done?
No premarital counseling is required!
Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?
I encourage rehearsals in almost every wedding. I write and conduct my own professionally directed rehearsals - or work in conjunction with premium weddings facilities site coordinators. It is a dis-service to a couple to have them perform their own rehearsal, unless that is their choice. If a wedding is small enough that it does not require a rehearsal, I am onsite well before the wedding time to provide general instruction for smaller ceremonies. In cases where a rehearsal was not possible (site restrictions or couple availability), providing direction and services just prior to the ceremony is also included.
