Megan Dey Photography is a boutique studio located in the heart of Darien, CT. Megan only books a limited number of weddings per year so she can get to know her clients and help them through the process of planning their wedding. Besides taking awesome photos on your wedding day her number one priority to you is that you have fun! Megan doesn’t want you to remember how much time you spent with her on your wedding day but rather that she took amazing photos and you barely noticed she was there.
Megan specializes in “traditionally trendy” photography; she captures candid moments throughout the day, from getting ready to the first dance. However, we all know that there are those required posed shots. Megan does her best to make those photos go quickly during the day but be truly unique. Megan will use the surrounding area, such as gardens and architectural details to make the shots your own and not like everyone else's wedding. She will shoot natural or enhanced light depending on the need or look she is trying to achieve.
Megan graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a BFA in Photo-Illustration and worked at a photography magazine for several years before leaving to start her business.
