The Mayernik Center is a great place for unforgettable weddings. The managers there are great people to work with, always willing to help. With a log cabin setting, it gives a comfortable home feeling. The deck on the outside is large and gives enough room for guests to relax, chat, and enjoy the outdoor surroundings.
The Mayernick is one of our favorite places to perform wedding ceremonies. The atmosphere is great, the staff is wonderful, they seemed very helpful and very organized. Everything was set up beautifully. My wife and I look forward to working with this venue again in the future.

How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
The Mayernik Center charges a flat fee for a 5 hour long event, prices vary on different days of the week.

Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?
The facility provides a unity candle or sand ceremony table along with chairs if the ceremony is held inside the venue. If the ceremony is held outside of the venue, it is up to the bride to provide chairs.
 
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
The caterers provide the linens, flatware, china, water glasses, napkins, etc. if the caterer does not provide what you need, we do have preferred vendors we suggest.
 
What is your staff-to-guest ratio?
The facility provides (1) one Events Coordinator for the event and bartender(s) depending on the amount of guests. The caterers provide their own staffing, which is normally 1 staff member per 2-3 guest tables.
 
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
Brides must choose from one of our four preferred caterers, but they can bring in any other vendors for DJ, cake, etc.
 
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
Bride provides own hard liquor, wine, champagne.
 
What restrictions (if any) on decorations?
No open flames (can have candles but must be enclosed), helium balloons, thumb tacks in the wood or confetti.
 
If your site is in a public location, is the client required to get any permits?
It is a public park, but there are no permits needed.
 
Does your venue often accommodate more than one event at a time?

We have a police officer present at every event due to past problems with weddings/other events.

Tips and Advice
If you are looking for a Saturday for 2010 during summer/fall months, we are mostly booked.  If you are looking for these months, please try to book around 2 years in advance.  We do have Friday's and Sunday's available.
