I am Maxine Stein of Maxine’s Catering/Bittersweet Bakers. I have been providing the Hudson Valley and surrounding areas with beautiful, custom designed cakes and delicious desserts for over 20 years for weddings, birthdays, and many other special occasions. I have years of professional experience as a pastry chef in the food industry at local restaurants like The Depuy Canal House, Chefs on Fire and Good Enough To Eat. I've  provided catering companies, restaurants and wedding venues with wedding cakes, desserts and specialty cakes for all occasions. 

 Designing a wedding cake is an important part of a catered event. I work intimately with each couple to create a custom cake to satisfy a wide range of tastes. Using high quality ingredients including, butter, imported chocolates, fresh fruits and preserves I can create a cake that not only looks beautiful but tastes delicious too. My wedding cakes, the last thing your guests eat, will leave them asking, ”Who made the cake?”
