Aloha and congratulations on your upcoming nuptials! Having been involved in Maui's wedding industry since 1994, I've had the pleasure of being a part of countless ceremonies.

Dividing my time as a professional photographer and wedding officiant, each and every wedding I participate in is entirely unique and I consider it a blessing to share in the joy of a couple's Big Day!

Hawai'i has been my home and adopted culture since 1990. With a blow of the conch shell, I like to begin and end my wedding, vow renewal, and commitment ceremonies with a traditional Hawai'ian wedding chant and prayer in the Hawaiian language The exchange of flower, leaf, or shell leis is also a very traditional and integral part of a Hawai'ian ceremony, bestowing even more significance upon your special day.

My ceremony includes the exchange of marriage vows and a ring ceremony, but I also like to allow couples the time to exchange their own vows, even if nothing more than a few words as an expression of the love they have for one another. You may also wish to consider including a 'sand ceremony', or perhaps a Hawaiian ti leaf ceremony which will further add to the wonderful memories of your Maui wedding!

My role as a wedding minister is to reflect God's unconditional love for two people in love as they embark on their new journey together as a married couple. I'm always pleased to tailor the ceremony to suit a couple's personalities, preference, and style as best I can. [Please click here to view the wording of the ceremony].

A graduate of the Chapman School of Music in Orange County, CA, she has played in over a dozen orchestras worldwide . Ginny is the artistic director of Early Music Maui and the Producer of the celebrated Maui Festival of Harps. Harp, Cello, and Viola da Gamba are favorites among the many instruments Ginny plays.

Alfred Wolf

Performs the most intiment musical duet with his wife Ginny Morgan!

Originally from Colorado, Al moved to Maui in 1969 and has played with the Maui Symphony and Valley Isle Orchestra, along with numerous swing and dance bands. His skills on sax, clarinet, flute and harp are sure to impress!

I'm a photographer on Maui, but I'm originally from California.Relocated here in 2001, and started shooting seriously in 2005.

After being the top booked shooter for the largest studio in the state of Hawai'i for several years, I broke away and opened my own business, the one you're perusing at this very moment.

The real aspects of photography which initially piqued my interests were rooted in thumbing through a College Zoology book when I was about four years old. Becoming exposed to nature and aspects of the world around us in a different frame of mind and view. Parts of the world, animals, all sorts of details that I'd never imagined or heard of in the pages of a National Geographic.

It wasn't until a year or so into shooting that I really started to take a step back and realize I was encountering the same sort of aspects in people that initially ignited that sense of wonder and love I had as a kid.

Learning and laughing with people, couples, on one of the most important days of their lives.

Different individuals from different walks of life and cultures, upbringings and relationships, countries and thoughts I'd never encountered.

People who would become more than just clients, who would become friends.

To me,

wedding photography isn't just about photography.

Photography and the details thereof are in the background of my mind when I'm shooting. The sort of things I'm barely paying attention to when dealing with people.

Amazing images are the aim in any situation when you hire a photographer. That's a given. But you take on a unique challenge when you don on the mantle of "Wedding Photographer." You're alluding to, or outright claiming you can get to know, understand, and work with anyone who hires you. And do it in an amazingly short amount of time.

At all times readily available as a counselor, psychiatrist, comedian, and an artist.

When I'd laid down the foundations of my skills in shooting, I began really focusing on the people and letting the shots just happen, rather than trying to stage and press each and every shot. Instead of referring to a palette of colors or a repertoire of canned shots, I relax and laugh with the people I'm privileged enough to work with.

It's my firm belief that this is the real route to capturing -- As cliché as that word is when dealing in photography -- the real fundamentals of who a person is. Remove the aspect of a performance from it, forget about the matte black machine between you and them, and the honesty comes through in the shot.

To me,

that's what makes my photography what it is.

The root of how, and why, I do what I do.

The oldest of seven children, Kuya was born in Samar, the Philippines, but raised in the US after his father joined the US Navy and relocated the family to the San Francisco Bay Area when Kuya was just five years old. His youth and adolescence were defined by household chores, caring for his younger siblings, multiple paper routes, and the trials and tribulations of an immigrant boy whose father was largely absent.

After decades in the service industry, primarily here on Maui, in more recent times Kuya has worked as a certified nursing assistant, a personal caregiver for special needs adults, a staff member at Special Olympic events, and a hospice volunteer for those facing life’s greatest transition.

The former altar boy may never have found his calling as a wedding officiant had it not been for the tragic misfortune of a friend. Through one of those bittersweet twists in life, Rev. Kuya follows in the footsteps of a dear brother, the late Marc Grodan of Maui. Upon receiving a terminal cancer diagnosis, Marc, the founder of Affordable Maui Wedding Company, was grateful to pass the baton to Kuya in 2010. The rest, as they say, is history.

Charles has been enchanting countless couples over the many years spreading Maui Marital Bliss with his unique Island style.
