Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
We shoot in digital and film for every wedding. High-end film although expensive still carries a timeless look and we incorporate that into our wedding experiences.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
We have experience lighting in all conditions. We own both studio and mobile lighting equipment and use lighting to portray dramatic effects.
In South Florida, harsh lighting is always an issue and our years of regional experience have helped us to become masters of those situations.
Is your media preference film or digital?
We prefer digital overall due to the many advances in technology. But we still shoot film within the scope of a wedding for certain special moments.
How many photographers do you work with?
Depending on the size of the wedding we can work with up to 3 photographers in a wedding.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Marlon Richardson, the lead photographer guarantees he will shoot all weddings directly booked with Marlon Richardson Studio.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Never, although we offer partial coverage our preference is to shoo the entire event. This usually takes all day and into the night.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, on our website you can learn about our lead photographers.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
2 digital camera bodies
1 film body
2-4 lights/flashes/strobes
2-3 zoom lenses
2-3 primes lenses
4-8 memory cards and a storage transfer device

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
All of photographers shoot with at least 2 camera bodies and several lenses with focal length redundancy.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We do offer packages based on coverage time, but our preference is full day as it yields the best results.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
We like to shoot the whole day and all of our packages include that service.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
A full day shoot will be at most 3. In most cases it will only be for 5-10 minutes to check equipment and browse the shooting schedule.
Do you charge for travel?
Only if the drive is over 2 hours from our base. We can work the additional costs out with you if travel time exceeds 2 hours.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Before you get back from your honeymoon you'll be able to preview your pictures. (Usually less than 10 business days)
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Initial proofs are online and but later you'll receive a proof book.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
This is yours to keep.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
We only want the right to use the photos for promotional purposes. You retain full rights to your photos.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
No, we require your permission as to keep the peace.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes on DVD(s)
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes
What kind of albums do you offer?
We use the award winning Italian album design company called GraphiStudios and the US based Cypruss Albums.
When will the client get the final album?
After it's been designed and proofed, it could take up to 6 weeks.
