Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Light is critical to photography and we have experience in all aspects of lighting, whether it be natural light, with flash or off camera flash. The quality of our work is extremely important to us and mastering all lighting scenarios is essential to quality photography.
Is your media preference film or digital?
We have been using digital cameras for seven years now.
How many photographers do you work with?
We are a husband and wife team. When you book with us, it is in the contract that both of us will be photographing your event from start to finish.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes!
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No! You are not a number at our studio.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, way more than we will ever, ever need.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Our services are available by the hour, which allows you to decide how much coverage you actually need.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
None!
Do you charge for travel?
No, not unless the wedding takes place outside of a three hour drive from the studio.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Within 72 hours we have a 'Sneak Peak' slide show on our blog. Three weeks later your color corrected proofs are then loaded onto a password protected site.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
You have four ways you see your images after the wedding. The first is the Sneak Peak slide show followed by your images being displayed on a password protected site. You also then get to have a Preview Book and complete album design to view. We do not charge for any of these proofing methods. They are included in our services.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes. Our couples do have the ability to either purchase their camera files or earn them for free.
What kind of albums do you offer?
We offer only the best wedding albums available on the market. We offer traditional mounted albums as well as coffee table books. All of our albums come with a lifetime guarantee.
When will the client get the final album?
Once you have finalized your album design, a wedding album is ususally delivered in less than eight weeks.
