We add an array of different coloring and textures, but only applies to our blog or album designs. To have this added to your DVD will be an additional charge.
Is your media preference film or digital?
All digital.
How many photographers do you work with?
We are mainly a husband and wife team. We use other photographers only when needed.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Either Mariemil or Paolo, definitely.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
NO! As far as we are concerned, it is your day and that is all we have to pay attention to =)
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, we network with other photographers and there will be some a photographer just as qualified in the unlikely event we are unable to.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We shoot with Nikons. From time to time we like varying our photos and do off camera flashing to give a dramatic lighting effect.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Most definitely. It is an important day, backup is a must!
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
We offer 9 hours for our general wedding coverage. We feel that is the general duration of a wedding day. If you need 30 minutes more we are pretty flexible and won't charge the overtime. If it is beyond that time our overtime charge would be $500/add'l hr.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Mainly at the reception when the guests are eating. Other than that only small breaks when there are long gap times between the ceremony and reception.
Do you charge for travel?
Yes, if it is outside of the Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego area.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
You and your guests can view the proofs on http://maolo.instaproofs.com 1 week after the wedding day. Sneak peek photos can be viewed on our blog http://maoloblog.blogspot.com 2 days after the wedding day.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Your photos will remain on the online proofing for 3 months.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes, your photos will be mainly used for viewing to potential clients.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Included in all wedding coverages a DVD will be provided to the client about 3 weeks after the wedding day.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes
What kind of albums do you offer?
Coffee Book Albums by Asukabook and Premium Book Albums by GraphiStudio.
When will the client get the final album?
When you have chosen your photos, it takes about 3 weeks for me to design it. I will send it to you via email for approval. Once approved by you I will send it to be processed. It takes between 4-6 weeks for me to receive the final albums.
