WHAT'S THE FIRST STEP?
Wedding hair plans should ideally be formulated at least 3-4 months before the event. Bring wedding hair pictures that display the styles you like the best to your consultation.  Try to select a style that is comfortable for dancing and moving around. Consider the wedding location’s climate (humid, dry, wet, cold, hot).  Also consider your plans for immediately after the event.  Are you planning to wear the hairstyle through your honeymoon vacation?  Make a selection from wedding hair styles that match with the style of your dress. Keep your desired bridal hair styles in mind when picking out accessories.

WEDDING HAIR ACCESSORIES:
Select simple wedding hair accessories that will not overpower your dress.  If you plan to wear a more elaborate headpiece, your wedding hair should be simple.  
The entire bridal party should have one theme for the wedding hair styles.  Since the bridal party could all have different hair lengths, color and texture of hair, you must determine whether you would prefer all party members to wear the same hair style or a similar variety of styles.

TYPES OF WEDDING HAIR:
It’s not a bad idea to have an up-do, if your dress covers all the way to the neck. It is usually better to not request a classic hair do with a contemporary wedding dress. Choose a hairstyle that is consistent with your overall bridal image. For example, a simple wedding dress calls for an uncomplicated hair style.  For modern style dresses, a down hair style with loose curls will offer a very romantic look.

 

HAIR REHEARSAL SERVICES:

The best way to make sure you are happy with the hairstyle for your wedding for you and your bridal party is through a hair rehearsal.   Basic desire of hair styles will already be determined prior to the appointment.   Bring any photos of the hair style you desire to your trial appointment, along with veils, tiaras, hair clips or accessories.  Please shampoo and completely dry your hair prior to the hair rehearsal appointment.
