What officiant services do you provide?

Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?

Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?

Yes

What is your attire for the ceremony?

Business attire -- a black suit. If there is a specific request -- for example, for a beach wedding, or for a specific color choice of shell under my suit, I am always flexible.

Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?

Absolutely! Each ceremony I perform is different, just like each couple I marry is different. Wording can be included that has humor, references to funny stories about the couple, hobbies, pets, or anything else (in good taste, of course!). This makes each couple's ceremony unique and special!

Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?

Again, absolutely! A wedding ceremony is a very special and personal event, and the couple's words to each other as they are married should reflect what THEY want to say -- NOT what someone else THINKS they should say!

Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?

I do have samples, to show ideas, and couples are welcome to use wording from those samples -- but it's not a MUST that these samples must be used!

How long are your ceremonies?

Depending on the couple's choice, ceremonies can run anywhere from 5 minutes to 25 minutes. I advise couples not to make ceremonies too long so that they, and their guests, are not fatigued before the reception even starts!

Do you require that premarital counseling be done?

No, I do not.

Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals?

Yes, I am willing to attend and/or coordinate a rehearsal. I do encourage couples who are having more than 20 guests to hire the services of a "day-of" coordinator, if they're not already using a planner.

Do you supply a sound system?

No, I do not, although for smaller weddings I do have a boombox that can play pre-ceremony and ceremony music.
