Locomotion is home to Chuck Blum, one of the areas most experienced wedding dance DJs (over 32 years). Chuck specializes in wedding dances that are upbeat and fun.
Chuck Blum has been making wedding days special for Bride & Grooms since 1978. Chuck works with you to acheive what you want for your wedding day. A true professional, Chuck has been in radio since 1976. You'll also find chuck MCing karaoke shows, banquets and charity events in West Central MN.
Chuck started playing for dances on January 18, 1978 in Elroy WI. His father and friends hung the name of "Disco Chuck" on him right away. Having left that moniker behind, Chuck took on the Locomotion name in 1983 and has been bringing fun to wedding dances in MN, WI, SD and IA ever since.
Chuck lived in Olivia for 27 years moving to Paynesville in 2010. You still hear Chuck every so often on 100.1 Big Country and catch him emceeing banquets around the area.
