Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Black & white, black & white with mixed colors and saturation levels, and various other techniques decided by the couple.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
Sunsets, Candlelight, Indoor, Outdoor, backlit.
Is your media preference film or digital?
100% digital.
How many photographers do you work with?
I work with an assistant and at times a junior photographer.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
I am at each wedding as the primary photographer.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No more than one wedding per day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have backup photographers in case of emergency.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I shoot using 2 separate Nikon cameras, with various lenses and multiple flash units. Reflectors, translucent scrims and tripods are also a necessity.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, I typically have 3 - 4 cameras and at least 6 lenses.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I typically charge for a full day (8 hours) of shooting time.
Do you charge for travel?
A charge is incurred for travel to places outside of the Phoenix metro area.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs are ready within 2 - 3 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Proofs are supplied via CD or DVD along with website viewing.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
The Copyright is retained for promotion of the studio. The bride and groom will receive a CD or DVD with all high-resolution images.
What kind of albums do you offer?
My albums come in leather bound, hard-back, or soft bound.
When will the client get the final album?
The final book will take approximately 4 weeks once final design and layout are completed.
