Are we getting two photographers?
Yes – all weddings by Lifework Images are photographed by both LaRae and Cory Lobdell.

Is there a limit to the number of photos for your service?
No – we shoot continually all day. We typically average 350-500 final original images at a 6 hour wedding.

Will all photos be digital?
Yes – we made the switch from film to digital two years ago after extensive research and education. We shoot only in RAW format. Shooting RAW is like shooting film. It gives us the latitude to "develop" images as we would with film. Our digital darkroom includes the most up-to-date software and techniques to ensure quality, artistic creativity and beautiful final products.

What format are the full-resolution photos (jpeg, raw)?
The final high-resolution files available for purchase are in TIFF format. JPEG is not a stable archiving format and deteriorates over time. We keep the RAW files backed up in three places, one of which is off site.

Are the full-resolution photos unedited?
We do edit our images to the “best of your day” and take out blinks, bad expressions, etc. The high-resolution files include all the final edited images, are color-corrected proof images in TIFF format and are ready to take to your professional photo lab.

Do the proof book, preview disc, and web viewing include all photos?
Yes – the proof book contains all the images 4-up on a page with easy reference numbers for ordering. The image preview disc contains all your images at 800 pixels at the longest side and are 72 pixels per inch – these are perfect for viewing quickly on your computer and sharing via emails and websites with friends and family. The web viewing and ordering service through Pictage includes all your images to view, order and share with friends and family online (password protected for your privacy).

How long after the wedding would the images and album be ready?
The proof book and web service will be ready four to six months from your wedding date (web service remains up for one year of the release date). At this same time we release an album design for your approval. Once we receive your approval on the design, the final album takes an additional four to six months to deliver to you.
