Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
We work in the digital format, so all images are color-corrected, cropped (if needed), and enhanced for the best overall result. All images may be rendered in color, black and white, or color-toned at no additional charge.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
We have experience in all types of lighting situations and circumstances, and have the technical expertise to take best advantage of each situation.
Is your media preference film or digital?
We work in 100% digital format.
How many photographers do you work with?
Both William and Janice work all events together, and we also may hire additional photographers at our discretion.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No, we allot the entire day to only one event.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, we do have backup photographers if needed.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
All cameras and backups, more than enough memory cards to fully cover the event, tripods and monopods, as well as the appropriate flash and lighting equipment.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We have wedding packages starting at $1000 that start with 5 hours of wedding day coverage and go up to unlimited coverage of the wedding day, rehearsal, and rehearsal dinner.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
For our Basic and Standard packages (which include 5 hours of wedding day coverage), our additional hourly rate is $125.00 per hour.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We are constantly alert to more photo opportunities, and only break if necessary, and for as brief a time as possible.
Do you charge for travel?
Depending upon the distance and the package contracted, travel expenses may be added to the package total.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Within one week (usually 5-7 days depending upon the number of photos taken).
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
We provide an online gallery for viewing.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
We keep the gallery online for several months, as long as needed.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, though if a package is purchased which includes DVDs or CDs of the images, the images are "rights managed" (the couple may print and/or share the photos, but not resell them).
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Most of our packages include CDs/DVDs of all of the images taken.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, and a separate ordering gallery will be available for guests to view and purchase prints as well.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Traditional drop in albums, coffee-table style printed books, and for the top packages, premium digital flush-mount albums.
When will the client get the final album?
Depending upon the album style included in your package, you will receive your final prints and/or albums and CDs within 3-4 weeks of you providing us with your final decisions.
