When I was 15 years old, I took a photograph of a long, country road. It continues to be one of my very favorite. I remember it like it was yesterday because that was the day I fell in love with photography. After graduating from the University of Arkansas with a degree in Advertising & Public Relations in 2002, I moved to Little Rock. Instead of taking a job in the advertising industry, I decided to pursue a career in photography. I spent two years hand printing in a darkroom for a local portrait photographer. In early 2004, I relocated to New Orleans. While there I worked for a commercial photographer until hurricane Katrina brought me back to Arkansas in August of 2005. I decided to stay in Little Rock and open my own studio.
Over the past few years I have enjoyed photographing families & capturing special moments that will last a lifetime. I am an extremely lucky person that gets to wake up every morning to do something that I love & am passionate about. There is nothing like capturing that special moment of a child, at a wedding, or of your special pet.
