Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
Each of our clients recieve a collection of both color and black & white images, with a high resolution cd of their proofs. This allows them the freedom to use their photographs in their own creative ways. However we offer other creative techniques such as sepia toning and custom point coloring and other retouching and enhancements.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
With over 15 years in the photography industry there aren't many lighting situations we don't have experience with!
Is your media preference film or digital?
Although we are primarily a digital studio, we are experienced film photographers that will always appreciate the art and talent of true film photography!
How many photographers do you work with?
There are 2 photographers in our company. We are a husband and wife team and other than portrait work, we shoot all events together.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We never book more than one wedding a day but there are weekends that we will work a Friday wedding and a Saturday Wedding.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We work with a close network of photographers who really seem to be willing to help eachother out. Although we have never missed a wedding in 8 years we would always make sure to have our backs covered so that you don't have to wonder if you'll have beautiful photographs to remember your wedding day!
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We are Nikon photographers we each have our own equipment, flashes, lenses, backup...
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Our packages cover a range of time and additional hourly coverage is available.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
It's all covered in each clients individual contract, specific to the needs of their day.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
This depends on the amount of time the couple has hired us for.
Do you charge for travel?
Outside the local area of 1 hour and out of State.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
6-8 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Our packages include a full set of 4x6 proofs. These are not watermarked and are for our clients to keep!
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Forever! There theirs!!!
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
We retain the right to use any of the photographs we take for advertising purposes in either print or web form.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Yes. Our clients recieve a high resolution cd of their proofs with a written release to use the photos in anyway they want.
Will images be available for viewing online?
If that is a part of their purchased package.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Graphi, TAP, Kingston...
When will the client get the final album?
Depends on the terms of the contract and which books are purchased, each album company has a different turn around rate.
