Don't let your best friend or maid of honor "pinch hit" when it comes to your wedding day makeup! This is your special day! It takes a few minutes of planning to go over the perfect skin care routine and makeup for you. While on the subject of skin care and makeup, take a look at your wedding party...could they use a few pointers on clearing their skin and choosing better makeup for your wedding? What about your mother and mothers-in-law? Spend as much time thinking about the FIRST THING people see when they look at you. (And no, it's not the gown or hair) It's your face! Don't forget about all those bridal shower and newspaper photos as well as your wedding album. You deserve the best!
Here's my hint: I see lots of brides and bridesmaids with blemished skin. It takes at least 2-3 weeks to perfect a skin care routine that works well. Plan on meeting with your skin care professional at least two months prior to the wedding - even sooner if possible! Bring your wedding party and any photos of makeup looks you might like to achieve with your dresses. It will be worth the effort when you have beautiful memories that last a lifetime!
