Established in 1967, Lake Pines began as a 20-site, family-operated campground in rural East Columbus, Georgia. An old barn served as the campground's recreation center, hosting many covered dish dinners, Halloween parties and square dances.

Since that time, the owners Kenny and Connie McCutchen have poured their love of event planning and outdoors into the Lake Pines Event Center. Here you will find a wonderful venue filled with stained glass windows, antiques, and rustic beauty that can’t be found anywhere else in the area.

Lake Pines Event Center wants to help you bring your vision to life, so we offer the option of using your own service providers or ones we recommend. The Barn - at Lake Pines is now a rental facility for local, corporate and private events.

The Chapel - Completed in 1997, The Chapel was built from salvaged materials found throughout Georgia. It is a beautiful setting for weddings and other events.

The Pavilion - An outdoor alternative to The Chapel, The Pavilion can accommodate larger weddings and wedding parties.

The Lillie House With a capacity of 50 (seated) to 80, The Lillie House is a formal setting for bridal teas, wedding receptions, and other events.
