1. Do your homework with your makeup artist. Get a trial done before your special day. I always tell my clients to have their trial done on the day of engagment pictures, shower day  or any day where you can get use out of the makeup.

2. A trial is for you to ask questions, bring in photos and for us to work together to create your perfect look. Never worry about altering something we do on your trial, that is why you come in before your wedding day.

3. Start to get your eyebrows shaped if you do not already. Your eyebrows are extremely important and will create a look for you from the start. I suggest coming to me 3-6 months before your wedding so we can start creating your perfect eyebrows. If there are hairs to grow back then the time frame will be sufficient enough for your hair to grow .

4. Have a facial done 1 month prior to your wedding day. If you do not get them done regularly do not start now. A mild facial will be fine however a deep cleaning will only bring toxins to the surface and can cause breakouts.

5. Use a gentle skin care regimen. If you do not know what skincare is out there I can lead you in the right direction at reasonable prices. Do not start seeing a dermatologist right before your wedding day. Sometimes they can overdo it with topical treatments which cause redness and extreme drying.

6. If you get a breakout DO NOT PICK! I can cover a pimple that is red however something that has been picked at is more difficult and can not always be covered without looking cakey.

7. Drink plenty of water so your skin looks fresh and hydrated which will show a beautiful, natural glow.

8. If you are waking up puffy from being tired or stressed brew camomile tea and let cool. Place cooled teabags on your eyelids for 10 minutes. That should do the trick!
