Needless to say, in planning my daughter's "destination" wedding (from New Jersey to Orlando, FL) I was concerned in selecting the various vendors sight unseen. Of all the vendors in a wedding the photographer has the single most important role. Everytime I look at my daughter's photographs I will be forever grateful that Kim Chau was the photographer. Every second of every once in a lifetime moment was captured in a way which I have never seen before in wedding photographs. From the moment Kim entered the room where my daughter was preparing for her day, Kim began collecting memories which would have easily been forgotten if not captured at those specific times. It was not until I arrived home did I realize that not once did I have to ask Kim if she was photographing every part of the ceremony or reception. Her delivery and presentation of the proofs is commendable. Bride and Groom are thrilled with the book they received with all the proofs. Thank You!!!!

How many wonderful things can I say about Kim?! Kim photographed our engagement session and our entire wedding day and we couldn't be happier with the results of both! From the moment we started getting ready on our big day until staying a bit later than expected to catch a few candids at our after party, Kim was more than we could have hoped for in a photographer. She arrived on time with an assistant and even phoned ahead of time to get the okay to bring an intern (which was fine with me as it was more shots/angles to chose from) for our wedding day. Kim has a very calm nature about her that doesn't make you feel anxious in front of the camera and even in our goofy moments, she captured such gorgeous shots. She managed to be present for every moment and yet fade away to where we were surprised when looking at the photos she had taken, because we had no idea she was even around for some of those moments!

Kim kept us informed every step along the way and responded promptly to all of my email inquiries. She was very easy to work with and was accomodating to our schedule about when and where we were meeting. She was self-directed during shooting, but was also open to any suggestions we had, as well.

I think that Kim offers such an incredible amount of value for her talent that I'm surprised she hasn't doubled her pricing!!! I have been to a lot of bridal shows and Kim was just what we were looking for and was very clear and direct...No hidden surprises. Everything was exactly as she said it would be.

We love you Kim! Now, if we could just get pregnant so we can use you again and again as our family grows!

I have known Kim for a long time and had the wonderful opportunity to watch her photography grow from an interest to a talent! Kim takes beautifully colorful photos that capture all the memorable moments of a wedding day, even the ones that I didn't realize were happening :) Kim was flexible and extremely easy to work with. Also she's just a really sweet person! She is never pushy, is extremely professional, and always goes to extra effort to get that special shot. There is no one else I would have asked to take our wedding photos and I plan to use Kim Chau Photography to capture all future milestones.
