A. Yes, you will have a choice of a Minister or an Officiate.

A. Sure, you can be married in a church.

Q. What is the best method to get in contact with our wedding planner?
A. The best way to keep in touch with your wedding planner is by email. Emails are checked often and are answered promptly.

Q. Will we able to write our own wedding vows?
A. You sure can write your own vow.(Just be sure to let your coordinator know!)

Q. Are we allowed to bring our own officiant/minister to perform our wedding ceremony?
A. Yes you sure can bring your own minister/officiate, however, you must send us the necessary paperwork in order for the court to approve.

Tips and Advice

Because the beautiful island of St. Thomas  can be very hot, we strongly recommend that you dress accordingly and  don't forget your sun screen lotion.

If you are traveling from the US, no passport is required for US citizens, however if you are on a cruise ship, you will be required to have at least a passport card in order to return back the US.

Weddings can be coordinated at anytime of the day starting as early as 7:00 AM, however, the best time of the day to have a wedding and have great photos is between the hours of 9: 00 AM- 11:00 AM daily. The hottest time of the day is between 12:00 Noon to 2:00 PM.

For Sunset weddings for the Summer months, the sunsets between 6:30 PM-7:00 PM while the sunsets earlier in the Winter months between 4:30 PM- 5:30 PM.


Are you wondering if your marriage here will be recognized as legal on the US mainland? Well yes it will be, we are a territory of the United States. Most countries throughout the world recognizes our marriage as legal. Please check with your country whether you will be needing an apostille.

Driving here in the Virgin Islands is very complicated, drivers are reminded to drive on the left side of the road, therefore slow down and drive carefully. Seatbelts are required, it’s the Law! The use of cell phone is illegal while driving here in the Virgin Islands, please utilize an earpiece or speaker phone.


There is no “open-container” laws here in the Virgin Islands, but be careful, always have a designated driver at hand.

English is the official language of Virgin Islands, however, you may hear other languages around the town.

The Virgin Islands is located in the Atlantic Standard Time Zone. In the spring and summer months we are on the same time zone as the US East Coast. In the autumn and winter months when the clock falls back, the time in the Virgin Islands remains an hour ahead.

The Virgin Islands is located in the heart of the Caribbean and enjoys hot to warm sunny days all year round. The average summer temperature is 82 F and the winter months is 74 F. Please don’t forget to wear sunscreen!

Even though the Virgin Islands experience nice weather all year round, we are still susceptible to inclement weather. Beginning June 1st until November 30th of each year is Hurricane Season, with the peak been in Mid-September. For that extra protection, we are offering Wedding Insurance.

The Virgin Islands is known to be the #1 Duty-Free port in the Caribbean. If you are returning from the Virgin Islands, you are allowed a $1,600 USD duty-free exemption. You may include 1,000 cigarettes as part of this exemption, but at least 800 of them must have been acquired here in the Virgin Islands. Only 200 cigarettes may have been acquired elsewhere. For example, if you were touring the Caribbean and you stopped in Barbados, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other ports of call, you could bring back five cartons of cigarettes, but four of them would have to have been bought in U.S. Virgin Islands.
Similarly, you may include five litres of alcoholic beverages in your duty-free exemption, but one of them must be a product of the Virgin Islands. Four may be products of other countries. Duty free allowance on alcoholic beverages applies if you are 21 years old, it is for your own use or as a gift and it does not violate the laws of the state in which you arrive.
