About Us

I am a resigned (ex) Catholic priest who worked as a parish priest in the interior of Brazil. I left the active ministry to marry and am licensed to perform weddings as an independent minister in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. My ceremonies are of a general spiritual nature and inclusive so that everyone present will identify with the tone and message. I also work closely with each couple to tailor the ceremony so that they are completely comfortable with the final version. I have been officiating at weddings since 1989 and have performed over 700 weddings.

I have two one-hour meetings with each couple prior to the ceremony. The first meeting is a no obligation meeting to get to know each other and to see if their is a connection between us. The second meeting, if we continue to proceed, is held about two weeks prior to the wedding where we will finalize everything that will be said during the ceremony and walk through the logistics. This takes the place of me attending a rehearsal the night before. But I assure you that we will cover all the ceremony details in great detail. Then I officiate at your ceremony on your wedding day. My fee for these services is $500.

2. Someone who is flexible enough to work with you to tailor the ceremony so that you are completely comfortable with the final version.
