Hi, I'm Keith Michael, owner of Keith Michael Productions, LLC. My goal is for your video to be something that you will cherish forever. Here, you can be assured that I personally record and produce every video. I do this because I believe that when you have a special event, you want it handled with care and not passed around to the next person in line, as in some larger companies. Here, I treat each video as though it were my own.
What primary style, such as traditional or documentary, do you identify with? Documentary
Are you a commercial studio or home-based business? Home-Based
What types, such as unedited footage or special effects, of videography do you offer? Fully edited vide with all packages, along with unedited video included. Both single camera and two camera packages available.
Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event? I use a small on camera light. It is not over powering and I use it only when needed.
Does the bride get to meet the videographers before the wedding? I prefer to meet with all Brides and Grooms before the wedding.
How many videographers do you work with? I have a couple different videographers that I use. All are trusted friends and skilled videographers.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? Unless I am ill, I personally record all of my events.
Do you book yourself for more than one wedding in a day? Weekend? Never more than one a day. I will book more than one a weekend s long as there is enough time between them so that I can give my full attention each wedding when I am there.
Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day? Yes
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? I bring 2 Panasonic AGV-DX100B Cameras, Wireless Microphone System, on camera light system and a stand alone audio recorder.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? I have one back up camera that I bring with me.
Do you require a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party provide your meal? Yes, as all vendors, I require that a meal be provided to me during the meal at the reception.
How many breaks do you usually take throughout the day? Dinner is my only true break.
Do you charge overtime? Yes
Do you give access to your raw footage? Yes
Do you reserve the right to use a video in the future for promotions, contests, etc.? Yes, but if a couple request that I don't use their video, I will honor their request.
Is the bride involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the bride have in editing? Typically, not for the video itself. Input on music choices and some requested are always welcome.
How long does it take for the bride to get the video? About 4-8 weeks.
