Katie is a creative, fun, young professional who enjoys every aspect of photography and everything it has to offer. She is a fun loving photographer who enjoys to meet new people and feed off the energy they bring to her when shooting. She couldn’t be happier with what she is doing with her profession and life. “I get inspired by everything and anything, no matter what I am shooting. I love the energy I bring to the table and the energy I can pick up from the people I shoot. I always try to capture people in their true light and get exactly what they want, but with a bit of my creative edge.”

Katie is well educated in the field of photography and has been shooting professionally for 7 years. She graduated with a degree from the Art Institute of Colorado in photography and won the Portfolio Par Excellence Award of her graduating class. “It was such an honor to win that award among so many great photographers. It really showed me that this is what I was meant to do and everyday I do it I can’t help but be happy and smile.”

Katie’s job is her life and her life is her job. Ever since her big brother took photos of her for his first photo class, she was addicted to capturing moments. She has constantly had a camera in her hand ever since that moment, even if it was just to document a beautiful flower or some random street art. “Things and people just inspire me. I love to capture what I am inspired by with my camera. Without art and my camera, I don’t know what I would do. This is my life and I love it”
