About Us

My husband Greg and I started this venue after being part of the Hunter/Jumper world for many years. We found our 12-acre horse farm is the perfect location for your outdoor country wedding, anniversary party or corporate event! At Karnes Stables, we strive not only to provide you with an idyllic setting, but also to exceed your expectations with our attention to detail. We learned that no matter how beautiful the setting, each bride wants her special day to be unique and personalized. We also know that these days every bride has her own idea of what her dream day should be. All our planning and assistance is complimentary from the very beginning to your bouquet toss! We hope Karnes Stables can be the setting for your special day!

There are outdoor areas for hosting all elegant country events including weddings, anniversaries, parties, and corporate events. The stables and farmhouse include areas for receptions, bridal suite, and country kitchen.

Our Wedding was everything we wanted it to be and a lot of that is because of Ellen's help! She guided us through every step of the Wedding planning and we can't thank her enough. This venue is beautiful and it makes for amazing Wedding photos. We had our ceremony under an old oak tree with spanish moss hanging all around us and the reception was on their back deck that looked so pretty lit up. We had a very small budget and were able to pull off a Wedding that we were proud of and all our guests loved. Thanks Ellen and Greg!

You will be in good hands with the Karnes'. Ellen has done her research on all of the elements needed to help wedding couples be successful in planning their wedding. Her attention to detail and her warm, charming personality is a big plus.

Located just minutes off the Veteran's Expressway in Lutz, Karnes Stables offers a variety of settings for ceremonies and receptions. The quaint Cottage Garden is perfect for smaller cocktail style gatherings - adjacent to the main Cottage (bride's parlor) and the Stable Lawn with an elevated white Pergola arbor.
If you are "into wide open spaces," the Oak Tree Meadow can accommodate both a tree-canopied backdrop for the ceremony and tent space for up to 250 guests.

Of course, the centerpiece of the property is its Stables with indoor seating and adjacent Kids Kottage and Groom's Room. Picture-taking possibilities are ENDLESS especially when they include the "storybook celebrity" farm animals. There's also many options for rehearsal dinners, horse-drawn carriages, and engagement photo shoots.
