Is your media preference film or digital?
We shoot 100% digital with all professional grade Nikon equipment.
 
How many photographers do you work with?
We're a husband and wife team, Josh and Jenny Solar :)
 
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We never book more than one wedding per day.
 
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yep! We have lots of friends in this business.
 
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We bring a Nikon D700, two Nikon D300s, a Nikon D2Xs, 3 flashes, off camera lighting equipment, an assortment of professional lenses, and lots of memory cards.
 
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes!
 
Do you charge for travel?
We do not charge for travel within the Kansas City area.
 
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
We have a two week turnaround time for wedding photos.
 
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
All of our proofing is done online.
 
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
All of our packages include a disc with the proof-stage wedding photos, with a copyright release which is delivered with the album.
 
What kind of albums do you offer?
We offer professional quality flushmount albums. These are also called storybook albums and coffee table albums.
