Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
We offer any prints you like in black & white, sepia, or black & white with some color at no extra charge. We also include a metallic finish on the prints (if desired) for no extra charge! All prints include retouching of blemishes, spots, etc. Anything you want can be done to your pictures. The opportunities are endless!
Is your media preference film or digital?
We use all high quality digital formats. This is better for both the photographers and the clients and allows for an endless opportunity of editing.
How many photographers do you work with?
We have one main photographer at every wedding along with a second photographer to get different angles.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, Jodie Lynn, owner of Jodie Lynn Studio, will be the main photographer at every event.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
We do not book more than one wedding in a day. We want complete focus to be on ONE bride. We don't want to have to be worrying about time, schedules, etc.
However, we are available to book two weddings in one weekend. (ie: one wedding on saturday and one on sunday)
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, we work with other skilled prefessional photographers if the unfortunate event would happen that we became suddenly unavailable.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
We bring two camera bodies, at least 3 lenses, a flash, a tripod, a step-ladder, various lighting effects, backup batteries on all our equipment, and backup memory cards.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
always.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
We include a certain time-frame in each of our packages, but are available for an hourly rate as well. Please check our website for further details.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
overtime for weddings is $100 per hour.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We are on the go nonstop (unless we find time at the reception as stated in the previous question)
Do you charge for travel?
Any location outside Marion County is charged only for mileage. If we must stay overnight, appropriate accomodations should be provided as well.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
All proofs will be available for online viewing within one to two weeks following the event. Prints are ordered as soon as possible and will be ready in an album for the Bride and Groom approximately four to six weeks after wedding. (usually sooner)
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Online proofs are available on our website, but your proof album will consist of at least 200-4x6 prints.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
The album is yours to keep forever.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
All prints are under copyright protection and may not be reproduced without consent from photographer.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
We will discuss this in an aggreement prior to your wedding. All photos taken by Jodie Lynn Studio have the right to be used for website and portfolio purposes unless otherwise noted by the client.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
A digital CD of all photos is included in two wedding packages and if not included in a package, it will be available for purchase.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.

We have various albums available. They price between $25-$395 and all are of excellent quality. Please check our website to view photos and a complete list of details and pricing for our albums.
