Since 1994, DJ JeffreyScott has played countless events all over the Capital District and beyond. Although I specialize in Weddings, I take all kinds of events including Anniversary Parties, Birthday Parties, Corporate Functions, School Dances, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, and just about any other type of event you can think of.

My approach as a DJ is simple - to be the most effective DJ I can be without drawing too much attention to myself. I PROMISE my clients the highest standards as a DJ. I do NOT bring any kind of costumes, props, or game shows into your wedding reception or event. This is simply not my style. I prefer a more classy approach offering you and your guests the opportunity to dance the night away with the best music possible! Although I will act as master of ceremonies at your event, once the formalities are over, I remove myself from the microphone and let the music take over. My philosophy is that you and your guests came to have fun and dance to the music, not hear your Disc Jockey talk all night long, or tell jokes or worse - SING over the air.

I will work closely with you planning your event. I will coordinate everything with your banquet manager, photographer, and other professionals that you have hired so your event goes smoothly as possible. When you, the client, walk in the door for your event, you only need to worry about one thing - having FUN! I do meet all my clients at least twice, and if we are not able to meet face to face due to distance or out of town clients, I will be glad to make other arrangements. I consider myself to be extremely flexible.

With over 25,000 songs in my digital library I have music to suit all kinds of clients and guests. Everything from Jazz To Country, Rock N Roll to Classical, Hip Hop to New Age and just about every other genre you can think of. I have the highest quality equipment, and I do provide wireless microphones for toasts, speeches etc, however - I do NOT give the microphone out for singing purposes unless you the client specify this is what you are looking for.
