Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No. I book only 1 wedding per day and 1 wedding per week to make sure that all my attention is put towards to photos and that they come out pitch perfect.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I won't refer you to ONE, but to a few fellow photographers, to make sure that at least one of them will be available for your special day.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Canon 40D, Canon 350D(backup), Canon 70-200L f2.8, Canon 50 f1.4, sigma 10-20, Canon 580EX2, Nikon SB-28
and lots of memory cards
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Final rates include: wedding coverage, editing, printing, etc.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
$150/hr
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
1 or 2 depending on the package you pick.
Do you charge for travel?
If I'm required to drive over 150km from Toronto, travel fees might apply.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Less than a week. Proofs will only be slightly edited, and watermarked.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Online / DVD / CD / Proof album
How long can the client keep the proofs?
As long as you wish. It's your photos :)
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Absolutely.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Low-res watermaked photos will be provided to you. You can email those ones to aunt Betty or post them to your favourite social networking website.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
I will provide you digital negatives. As well as High-res JPEGs, and low-res JPEGs.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, they will be available for viewing and ordering.
