About
Successful photography requires a skilled, experienced photographer who is effective working with people. When selecting the photographer who is best suited to meet your needs, all of these elements should be considered. My background is extensive and includes a B.F.A. in photography from the Rhode Island School of Design as well as professional experience in weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, portraiture, special events, publicity, and other commercial photography since 1975. My style may best be described as naturalistic, showing participants relaxed and spontaneous, whether this be in formal portraits or in candid images. My work has been seen in Town & Country, House Beautiful, Country Living, Bon Appetit, Colonial Homes, Baltimore Magazine, I Do, Maryland and Washington Bride magazines, Style, and numerous other publications.

Tips and Advice
Make sure you meet your photographer before you sign a contract. Speak to prior clients to really get a sense about their work. A photographer's people skills and ability to work effectively in weddings is as important as the actual photography skills. If you don't have a good comfort level with him/her at the preliminary meeting, look for someone else!
