About
Inku is a wedding and lifestyle portrait photographer located in the New York City metro area.

Inku is a very complicated person that is often easily amused. Like most people, he has many likes/dislikes. He is talented in so many various ways.

Likes:
artsy
taking "naps" that last 4+ hours
watching Mythbusters, Adam and Jamie, blow sh*t up
steak with his wine
comfortable shoes
memory foam mattresses
the Boston Red Sox (he remains civil with clients that are Yankee fans)
laughing out loud

Dislikes:
fartsy
hazy, hot, & humid
skunky beer
messy foods
spandex
soggy nachos
rolling on the floor laughing

Expertise:
making really sharp creases when folding paper
inopportune stomach noises
starting sentences with the words "Hmm...", "So,...", "Uh...", "I dunno...", or "Well,..."
being tricked into buying items from late night infomercials

On top of all that, he is a talented artist and photographer.

Available for weddings anywhere in the universe.

How many photographers do you work with?
I'm the primary shooter and work with a second photographer/assistant. I also network with hundreds of other local photographers.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
I, Inku, am your photographer. I don't double book and then send someone else to shoot your wedding.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
I only book one wedding per weekend and only 20 weddings per year.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I network with hundreds of photographers and guarantee you will have a photographer with comparable skills as me, in the very off chance that I am unable to make it.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I bring 2 camera bodies, 6 lenses, 3 flashes, almost 100 GB in memory cards...

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
I have backup equipment for all my main equipment.

Do you charge hourly or full day?
I charge for full day coverage (up to 8 hours) and then hourly if you feel more time is needed. 8 hours is typically enough for me to cover your event from "getting ready" to the reception.

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Additional hours are $300/hour.

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Just 1 meal break.

Do you charge for travel?
I don't like to "nickel and dime" my clients, so reasonable travel is typically included in my rates (within a 100 mile radius of NYC).

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Proofs are ready 2-4 weeks after your event.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?
All of my packages include a full set of 4"x6" printed proofs PLUS a private online gallery. The prints are unmarked.

How long can the client keep the proofs?
The proofs are yours to keep for ever and ever.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I retain the copyrights, but grant private use (reproduction/print) rights to you so you can print as many pictures as you desire.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
I reserve the right to use photos in marketing and advertising materials. That might include my website, blog, and brochures.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
A DVD of digital negatives is provided with my packages.

Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes, I provide a private password protected online gallery for you.

What kind of albums do you offer?
I only offer premium leather albums. They are "flush mount" where the pictures are the pages. I don't offer slip ins or matted albums. The album companies I use are Finao (www.finaoonline.com), PictoBooks (www.pictobooks.com), and GraphiStudio (www.graphistudio.com).

When will the client get the final album?
Once you complete the image selection process and approve the album design, the album is usually ready in 8-10 weeks.
