We are known for our 18-foot high ceilings and gorgeous Palladian windows.
How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
Our wedding packages start at $52pp plus tax and service charge.

Our package include so many great vendors and choices!
Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners?
We do have special rehearsal dinner menus. We also have farewell breakfasts too!
Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?
Knives, Guest books, etc are part of our package.
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
We do provide linen rentals, chair rentals, and more!
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
We do provide brides with a list of vendors we suggest.
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
There is no fee for a bride to bring in an outside musician.
Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?
We have our Essex Room and the Mezzanine for a cocktail hour and we have our Pickman Room for photos!
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
It is illegal in Massachusetts for a guest to bring liquor into the hotel.
What restrictions (if any) on decorations?
Nothing flammable.
Does your venue often accommodate more than one event at a time?
We would only accommodate two weddings at one time, but that is VERY rare.
Can you provide a coat check?
We do provide a coat check.

We have a set of public restrooms on the lobby level, one on the lower level and one on the 2nd floor, near the Mezzanine.
Describe your parking facilities:
We have two parking lots, both are complimentary. The city of Salem also has two parking garages within walking distance of the Hawthorne Hotel.
