Frequently Asked Questions for Beauty & Health
What beauty services do you offer?
Hair, Makeup

Do you charge for trials?
Trial runs are also $125 for hair and makeup.

Do you travel to the client on the day of the event? If yes, is there a fee?
There is no travel fee in Wimberley and Dripping Springs. Otherwise, the fee is $75. We bring lighting and a director?s chair. The only thing we need is a regular chair (for hair) and a bit of table space (dining height, not coffee table height).

How many customers can you serve at one time if the bride were to book her entire bridal party? Are there discounts for doing so?
I can do up to five girls on my own after that an assistant is required which is an additional $275 fee.

How far in advance should clients book your services?
It's never too soon!

Tips and Advice
Any tips for a smooth wedding day hair and makeup session? Yes, here’s our Top 10! Copy and paste this in an email to your bridesmaids right away so they will know: 1) Hair should be totally dry with no shine products or anti-frizz products. Face should be clean. 2) It's a good idea to have someone make a CD or bring a radio, it REALLY helps keep things calm and "un-awkward" especially when energy is low. Hotel rooms rarely have radios/cd players, so bring your own. 3) Each girl should bring a sweater or jacket because the air will have to be turned down considerably to accommodate the person in the chair. The curling iron and hot tools put off ALOT of heat and the light we bring with us does also. So if you aren't in "the hot seat", you'll be chilly and girls don't like to be COLD!! 4) You may want to designate a "mimosa maiden" to bring a relaxing cocktail if that helps you stay calm, cool, and collected....(even if you don't think you'll need it......) 5) Tips for Bridesmaids and Maid of Honor include: not allowing people to "bother" the bride with unnecessary questions like "where do you want me to put your toothbrush" or "is it okay if we put this here or that there...", just handle it for her. Constant questions ware on even the most patient and even particular brides. 6) Keep annoying relatives at a distance by delegating to them responsibilities outside of your "getting ready" area (ie: buy mom a massage or manicure at a salon, ask Aunt Sally to monitor decorations. 7) Try to leave the person "in the hot seat" (the one being worked on) alone as much as possible. It is very difficult to obey commands such as "look up" or even just "close your eyes" when others are talking to you or at you and it can be hazardous when working close to the eyes to NOT have total cooperation. This is a great time to allow whomever is being "done" at the time, to relax and enjoy the pampering process. 8) Do NOT decide to change your hairstyle on the wedding day! If we did a trial run, stick with what we did. If you are extremely laid back and easy to please, then fine, we’ll change it, but I can’t guarantee satisfaction without having done a trial for that specific style. 9) Don’t force family or BMs to do hair/makeup if they are hesitant. Let them decide after seeing everyone else looking great. They almost always come around after seeing that we don’t make anyone look less than stunning! But if you’re paying for it, they’re more likely to be cooperative. You can always tell them if they are unhappy, they’re welcome to take it off and/or take the hair down and re-do it themselves…it won’t hurt our feelings! 10) If you have extremely particular family or BMs who are very concerned about their hair/makeup, encourage them to do a trial run. This way there are no surprises on the big day and at the trial run we can take time to ensure they get what they want and are happy.
