Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning?
I offer many artistic finishes to your images. In addition to B&W, Sepia, Colorized B&W and metallic prints, I offer hand painted art prints that are made from your photographs.
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital media allows me to be ready for any lighting situation. That combined with options like B&W conversion, creating collages and airbrushing gives me the flexibility to create beautiful and artistic memories.
How many photographers do you work with?
Typically, I work with at least one more photographer.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes, absolutely.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No. I photograph only one event per day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have a network of photographers who will be able to replace me in case of an emergency.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Back-up equipment is a must. Your wedding day happens only once and there are no re-takes. Moreover, my back-ups are the same as my main equipment.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I custom tailor my packages to the individual customers' needs.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Overtime is $250 per hour and the decision can be made on the day of the wedding.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel charges apply to events that are further than 50 mile radius away from Washington DC.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Usually 2-4 weeks.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
The proofs are presented as a CD-R and a contact sheet proof book. However, 4X6 prints are available as well.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Forever.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
You will get the high resolution files along with your album.
Will images be available for viewing online?
An online photo web gallery with a slideshow set to music can be hosted for 60 days per clients' request. Your friends and family can easily view the images and re-live the fun wedding moments as well as purchase any images online.
What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer ?Magazine Style?, ?Coffee Table Books? and ?Traditional? style albums. I use only high-end manufacturers that set the standard for the whole industry (Picto Books and Zookbinders).
When will the client get the final album?
Different manufacturers have different turnaround time, the average is 4 weeks.
