Gratitude Pastries owner, Alison, graduated from the prestigious International Culinary Center in 2011, with the Top Chef award in her class.

She began her cottage food business, Gratitude Pastries, in 2013, after 30 years as a Montessori teacher in Santa Cruz.

Gratitude Pastries aims to bring together high quality ingredients into simple and delicious pastries, cakes, cupcakes, and baked goods.

Gratitude Pastries' earned the Best Cookie Award for its cuccidati at Zinnia's Annual Cookie Competition. Gratitude Pastries' wedding cakes currently hold a 5 star rating onweddingwire.com.

Allison Brown of Gratitude Pastries is an amazingly talented baker and a wonderfully pleasant human being. :) She went above and beyond with making sure all the details of our wedding cakes were exactly how we wanted them. Allison has an amazing gluten-free vanilla cake (if you don't tell anyone it's gluten-free they would never guess). She also makes a very yummy devil's chocolate cake. We ordered both flavors and asked her to frost them with her off-the-charts delicious chocolate buttercream. She has lots more recipes up her sleeve too. She delivered the cakes to our venue on time and they were beautiful. Allison is fantastic!
