One of the best decisions I ever made was hiring Gotta Dance DJ's for our wedding reception. Right off the jump I felt extremely comfortable expressing to Joe what we were looking for. I had several ideas, and he was totally enthusiastic about them all. I pretty much thought I had everything in order. However, Joe mentioned several other aspects of the wedding I never even considered. We didn't have a coordinator and he pretty much took over the role of how the evening was going to flow. It was seemless. It's amazing how much more there is to planning and executing a big event, and he has such attention to detail. His expertise proved to be invaluable. Not only was he able to pose some pertinent questions, but also some great recommendations for solutions. Joe is beyond just a DJ. Of course he played our playlist, but how and when each song was played is so important. He really just read the crowd, and the guests looked like they were having a blast. (We sure did!) He also added some songs that were so appropriate, and so fitting, it was like he knew exactly what we wanted to hear. He jumped in when needed to keep things flowing, like garter/bouquet toss, cutting of the cake, etc. He was basically the host. If it wasn't for him, regardless what kind of planning I did, it would have been utter chaos. He's very personable, and so charming. He reallly is the epitome of appropriate, because says and does all the right things. I really don't write reviews all that often, but you future brides/grooms need to know about this guy. Really, once you've hired him, check it off your list, he will do his job and so much more.
