About Us
My major in college was photography; There I learned necessary technique, but some of the greatest learning experiences came from meeting so many people in the same field that found creative ways to record the world as they saw it through their own eyes. In May 2008, I graduated from Middle Tennessee State University. Since 2002, I have been photographing weddings promising to deliver images that reflect a point "where tradition meets trend." While traditional portraits are still part of my routine, I love incorporating candids and artistic shots that focus on the fleeting moments as well as the details you put into your wedding day. While weddings are certainly my concentration, I believe diversity in my field adds an edge to my work. In 2006, I became interested in fashion and started photographing fashion shows which led to photographing for the Spring and Fall Fashion issues of The Murfreesboro Pulse. Experience with The Pulse gave me the nerve to network and get myself on stage photographing Kill Hannah and then to getting assignments from The Nashville Scene including covering concerts such as Ted Nugent, A.F.I., Conor Oberst, and My Morning Jacket among several local bands.
