Are there any special characteristics about this venue such as scenery or architecture?
Guests just love the classic character of our Hall -- the warmth of exposed 100-year-old brick, antique wood floors, classic creamy walls and wainscoting. We have a perfect mix of old and new, rustic and elegant -- a great eclectic space for couples who don't want a wedding venue with just 4 walls and a floor, but want a unique place to make a special memory!

How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
We charge a flat fee by the day for weekends. For weekdays, we offer a flat fee by the day, and also have an hourly option, with a 3 hour minimum.

Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
Tables and chairs are included in the rental price! We have 27 60" rounds, with nice white wedding folding chairs. We also have 3 6-foot tables as well. We will provide linens for an additional charge.

Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
No, we don't have exclusive vendors. This is usually a welcome feature for couples looking to manage their budget closely.

Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
No.

Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?
We have separate bride and groom dressing rooms available.

Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
Yes, we just require a licensed server to provide drinks to guests. We no longer allow keg beer.

How many power outlets does the venue have?
Too many to count! Since the facility was just renovated, there are ample outlets, on different circuits, all over the Hall.

What restrictions (if any) on decorations?
We don't allow anything to be attached to walls or trimwork. We do allow decorations to be hung from the trusses that stretch across the Hall. We don't allow confetti to be thrown, and no little "gemstones" scattered on tables, since it damages our beautiful floors. We allow candles, as long as they are enclosed, such as a votive holder or hurricane glass.

What restrictions (if any) on music?
None so far!

What restrictions (if any) on noise levels?
We just expect that it is kept within reasonable limits for a party.

Describe your parking facilities:
There are three free public parking lots nearby, and plenty of free on-street parking!

What is the maximum capacity of your venue?
226

Additional Questions and Answers
Our new elevator is up and running as of February 2009, so we are fully handicap-accessible now.

The nicest thing about our venue is that because it has so much character and charm, it doesn’t require a lot of time and expense to host a lovely wedding! With the sparkling lights and the beautiful glowing wood floors, it’s very romantic without a lot of decoration or effort. The hanging white icicle lights on the overhead beams are there year-round.

For brides who want to have both their ceremony and reception, we are currently completing bride's and groom's dressing areas. We expect those to be ready for the 2009 fall wedding season!
