About Us

Wedding photojournalists Rachel Reinders and Christopher Padgett have been friends for over 10 years.

Though they are miles apart, they decided to collaborate in their love of photography, under the name of First Blush Photos.

The name "First Blush" came about because it expressed different aspects of their photography they seek to capture; the first blush of new life, the first blush of love, etc. Also, it holds the meaning of sunrise, one of the "golden" times of the day for ideal photography.

For weddings, they partner together to give the bride and groom full coverage of the day, telling your story in a photojournalistic approach.

Rachel and Chris serve Chicago and are also available for destination weddings.
