I have always been the designated member of the family to plan a birthday party, bridal shower, or just simply bringing people together for no reason at all and this became a passion. I began with small parties etc.. Then one day I became the go to person for an ex co-worker who at the last minute couldn’t find a coordinator to plan her wedding, and because I was always designated to put together the office luncheons or baby showers in the work place, she enlisted my services. Needless to say I became her "wedding planner". I received so many compliments on how well put together her wedding was in such a short span of time for sooo many guests. People that I didn’t even know started calling me, some of whom attended her wedding some of who were referred by guests at this wedding. The demand became greater and greater. I couldn’t stop. One person after another. What started out as a favor for a co-worker became a vision for something greater. Thus the birthing of Exquisite Events Management. I began to attend bridal shows to gain more experience and to network so to speak to gain more knowledge of what I should offer a bride-to-be. I found that the creativity that goes with this type of work really had to come naturally and I had it. My passion grew stronger and stronger with the planning of each event. I was myself surprised that so many people trusted me with what would be considered one of the"the most important days of their lives" and because of this, I sat down and came up with a more formal business plan with packages to offer and began to take it a little more seriously. I began to solicit venues and other vendors in the industry and behold a "Preferred Vendors" listing. Before I knew it Exquisite Events Management became my full time job. I have to say that working with people has always been a strong attribute of my personality, as well as getting people to do what I wanted them to do. Once I wrote my vision down on paper it just took on a life of its own. I truly believe that this is what GOD had planned. It’s a blessing to be able to say that I love my job!!! Even with all the hustle and bustle, oh yeah and the price of gas. I wouldn’t trade getting into the event planning business for the world. It’s in my blood. I even have a mission statement. "Consulting with care, creativity & consistency, my mission is to bring to fruition the vision of grandeur captured in your heart to life. Customizing your day to be like no other!!!" Exquisite Events Management offer an array of services in the area of event planning that include weddings, company & corporate events, parties for all occasions as will as intimate evenings for 2 or any type of event that you can think of. Services offered by Exquisite Events Management are custom. I will personally plan your event with the care, creativity and consistency outlined in my mission, using the vision that you provide during your initial consultation and anything that you desire to add after that. All the way through completion of your planned event. Working with you to bring your vision to life is not only my mission. It’s a priority and my business.
