How soon should I book your services?
"Sooner is better than later!" We book Full and Partial Wedding Planning packages well in advance (up to two years) but only book Day of Coordination / DOC packages up to one year in advance.
While we try to update our calendar found on the "Contact Us" section, please contact us for our availability.
How much notice do you need to book Day of Coordinator Services?
If we’re not booked, we’re available!
What is required for booking your services?
We require a signed contract and a non-refundable $100 deposit to book our Day of Coordination Services (Something Blue/Something Old/Something Borrowed/Something New) and a 30% non-refundable deposit to book our Full or Partial Service Planning Package (Silver Sixpence.)
When is final payment due?
Final payment is due 10 days before or on the day of your event .
What forms of payment are accepted?
We accept personal checks, money orders, bank/certified checks, and Debit/Credit payments through Paypal.com. If you would like to pay via Paypal, please contact us in advance.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
Deposits are not refundable. However, any payments made towards our services are fully refundable up to three (3) months prior to your event with written notice.
Are there discounts for "off-season" brides?
For our January 1 through March 1 brides, we provide a discount of 15% off our Something Blue and Something Old packages only.
How do I order products and other creative services by EAP Inc.?
Please contact us with all your questions, and a representative will gladly provide a quote, delivery estimation, and other details.
Do you work with an assistant?
Depending on your needs, we will provide an assistant for an additional fee.
What happens if my Coordinator is sick?
We will be sure to provide you with an alternate coordinator should the need arise. You will be notified in advance and the replacement coordinator will be well informed of your needs.
Can I add products or services after I’ve signed the contract?
Of course you can! We will work with you to suit your needs and draft another contract if necessary.
Do you offer product or service package discounts?
The more the better! We will discount high quantities.
How many hours are included on the day of the wedding?
Our standard packages include 10 hours of service on the day of your wedding.
What about tipping?
We get this question a lot! As with other vendors who are out there working hard to make sure your day is everything you dreamed of, gratuities are of course appreciated, but certainly not a requirement.
What benefits do I have for using your "preferred vendors?"
We pride ourselves on reputation and excellent service. Our preferred vendors may offer a discount at their discretion should you mention that you are a client of ours.
What is the best way to contact Exquisite Affairs?
We prefer email as it enables us to keep your information organized best. We will respond to all emails within 24-hours during the week and within 48-hours on weekends as we are often working at this time.
What is the difference between a Day of Coordinator and a Bridal Attendant, Event Coordinator, or Banquet Manager provided to me by my reception site?
A Bridal Attendant, Event Coordinator, or Banquet Manager provided to you by your site is employed by your reception site. They will ensure that your reception runs smoothly while you are at the venue. They are employed by the reception site and not by you personally and are limited to what services they can extend to you.
A Day of Coordinator (DOC) is employed by you solely and will work with you during the entire duration of planning and will be with you from the moment you wake up in the morning to the moment you lay to rest at the end of your special day. We will be the point-person for yourself, guests, and vendors should any problems arise. We are capable of being "your brain" for the entire day.
