Rana D Brookins has been planning events for over a decade. Rana began her career in the financial world immediately following college however her true "calling" has always been event planning. After planning several weddings, birthday parties & baby showers for friends and family refusing to use the same theme twice and always adhering to customizing the event to incorporate the personality of the client, she decided to follow her "calling". "I went to a work related seminar and it tasked the participants to write what truly makes them happy," said Rana. "At that moment I knew I could no longer prolong my decision." Rana saw the process that brides went through and wanted to help. She knew she could. "I love bringing the unexpected elements and their dreams to life," said Rana.

Rana soon opened Exceptional Event Design. Although she was qualified to plan any event, she wanted to focus her energy primarily on weddings. She opened her own business so she would be free to design with the personal detail that every bride deserves. She was determined to only serve the interests of her clients.

Rana has since planned numerous memorable weddings. From the spectacular to the simple. Rana has earned a reputation as the smart choice for anyone wanting to create an exceptional event.
