About

Leah Godfredson is a San Antonio photographer specializing in wedding photography.  She has traveled all of South Texas shooting weddings for her clients.  Some recent weddings have taken her to Austin, Boerne and Fredricksburg.

"I spend a lot of time getting to know my clients during the weeks leading up to their wedding day, and the end result is that I am able to capture moments and emotions that I might not have been aware of if I were a complete stranger."

As a part of every package, Leah offers a complimentary engagement shoot, which is more like a date for the couple, with Leah as the papparazzi!  "It’s tons of fun; we begin with some wine, loosen up, talk and laugh while we get to know each other.  Then I turn you loose on the town to enjoy each other, and I capture the magic that you create by being yourselves."

After the wedding, many of Leah’s clients find that Leah has worked her way into their hearts, so much so that she is often included on the guest list for the next big event in their lives, the baby shower!

"I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have made so many friends.  I treasure each one of them and thank my lucky stars for leading me to this amazing business."

Frequently Asked Questions for Photography
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
I use ambient light as much as possible, but I also enjoy the look of off-camera lighting.

Is your media preference film or digital?
All digital!

How many photographers do you work with?
I usually work alone, although I have an option to add a second photographer to any event.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No. In fact, I usually only book one wedding per month, which gives me plenty of time to create gorgeous albums from your images.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes, I have several photographers that I can call on if needed.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I shoot with a Nikon D200, and I bring along a selection of lenses and flashes. I try to travel light while ensuring that I have what I need to get the job done.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, I have back-ups for each item.

Do you charge hourly or full day?
My packages include up to 8 hours of coverage.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
I will have a selection of the best images from your day online within a week, and the remaining images will be available within two weeks.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?
The entire collection of images will be posted to Pictage, an online website which allows you to sort the pictures into favorites.

How long can the client keep the proofs?
The proof-book is yours to keep.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes, although a limited release is provided for any images that are provided on CD.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
I only publish images with the permission of the bride and groom.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
I include the files in some packages, or they can be purchased.

What kind of albums do you offer?
I offer Leather Sequoia Albums by Willowbook, as well as Leather Craftsman Albums.

When will the client get the final album?
The album is delivered approx. 3 months after the final design is approved.
