Emerald Invitations provides a distinctive combination of hand or computerized calligraphy as well as traditional or customized invitations to make your wedding day memorable and uniquely yours.

Additional services include: envelope addressing, seating scrolls, place cards, ceremony programs, menus, donation cards, embossing, and reception accessories.

1. Do you only offer invitation services?

No, in additon to offering custom-designed or catalog invitations, we also offer envelope addressing by hand or machine, seating scrolls or placecard, table cards, directions and accommodation cards, ceremony programs, thank you cards, and an assortment of reception accessories.

Even if you receive your invitations through another vendor or venue, you can still use our services for everything else.  Simply bring a sample of your invitation and we can match fonts and colors to ensure a consistent look and feel.

2. What if I can't find exactly what I'm looking for in an invitation catalog?

If you can't find what you are looking for and you want something unique we will work with you to create the perfect invitation. Just call us to set up an appointment. 

We have produced invitation in treasure boxes, in bottles, even on a hot-pink pump.  We can also get creative with more traditional options such as pocket invitations or layered invitations.  If you can imagine it, we can make it.


3. How much does calligraphy cost?

Our Master Calligrapher, Bob Goodwin, will hand address an outer envelope for $3.00 each.  If you have an inner and outer envelope the cost is $3.50 per set.  If you prefer machine addressing, that cost is $1.75 for a single outer envelope or $2.00 per set.

4. When should I send out my Save The Date notification?

Your Save The Date should be sent out 6-12 months before your wedding date.

5. When do I need to order my invitations?

You should allow approximately 6-8 weeks for ordering your inviations to ensure time for design, reviews, approvals, printing,  production, and shipping.

6.  When should I mail my invitations?

Typically invitations are sent out 6-8 weeks prior to your wedding date for guests within the US and 8-10 weeks outside the country.

7. What's the average turn-around time for envelope addressing?

Envelope addressing by hand is typically 5-6 days, by machine 3-4 days.
