Black & White with Color Effects, Sepia, Fine Art, and other Special Effects.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
All lighting situations from Low Light to Direct Sunlight.
Is your media preference film or digital?
Digital, but I also use Film.
How many photographers do you work with?
I have access to 4 other photographers and I can have up to 3 at a wedding at one time.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes. I attend all of my weddings as Primary Photographer, unless I happen to be ill.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
No more than one wedding per day or weekend. I like to concentrate all of my efforts and energy on one wedding so I can provide 110% to my clients.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Yes. I have 3 to choose from...each of them can work on their own as a primary photographer.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
3 Cameras. 2 Digital & 1 Film for backup. Lights and several other accessories. You never know what you will need, so I arrive prepared for most any situation.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes. I have 1 Digital camera Backup and 1 (trusty) Film camera backup. You can never go wrong with good old film.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
Hourly. Our packages consist of several hours of coverage or you can use our services per hour if you prefer.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Yes. We are available for overtime. We don't usually charge any extra if the coverage goes up to 1 hour over. After that we charge OT. at our hourly rate.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Zero. I may rest if there is downtime, but otherwise, I am working throughout. You are paying me to photograph the event, not to rest. I can rest when I am done.
Do you charge for travel?
If travel exceeds 60 miles or 1 hour from my studio, I charge $50 per hour (roundtrip). If less than that, there's no extra charge.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
approx. 3 weeks. There are usually lots of images to edit after a wedding and 3 weeks is just enough time to be ready for viewing.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
Proof Book, Proof Magazine, Printed 4x6 proofs, CD, DVD, On-line Proofs. Any of these are available depending on my clients needs.
How long can the client keep the proofs?
Preferably no longer than 2 weeks. Then I would like to have the Album picks so I can get started on designing the wedding album. All proofs are given back to the couple to keep after their album images have been selected.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes. But, I do offer a Copy and Usage assignment for an additional fee.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
Yes. To show to future clients, on my website, promotional items, marketing and other studio related products.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
Digital negatives are available for purchase but are not included in our wedding photography packages.
Will images be available for viewing online?
Yes.
What kind of albums do you offer?
Traditional, Digital, Press Printed, Library Bound, Custom Designed and more.
When will the client get the final album?
Approx 6 weeks after the wedding album photos have been chosen and provided to us.
