Additional Answers & Advice:

A few thoughts to consider when thinking about how to decorate:

1. Lighting...lighting...lighting! Whether it's tons of candlelight, uplighting, pinspots, gobos etc this can turn an ordinary space into something extraordinary. It's so simple but has such a dramatic impact. Lighting is essential.

2. Focal points. Even on a small budget you can get a great wow factor by simply creating a few unique focal points. Put your efforts into a few key areas and that will create a unique atmosphere that people will remember. Some options:
- Make the placecard area some really unique, go beyond the simple white placecards sitting out on the table. Consider hanging them from ribbon, fishing line, branches, use a memo board. Create custom cards, skip the plain white. Do something large scale... endless possibilites.
-Create a lounge area with a few benches, ottomans and/or sofas. You can also do this for kids...large floor pillows, a rug and some fun activities and you will have made their day (and the parents too!).
-Make the cake table area special. Use fancy linens and a backdrop or canopy over the cake.
-Set up a custom photo booth. Could be a bench with a backdrop and fun props.

3. Theme. Choose a simple color scheme or theme and stick with it. Using every idea you think of will end up with your party looking cluttered and messy. People will miss the thoughtful details. Keep it simple.

Have fun with the decorating and make it something that reflects your style!
